Galina Manahilova has dedicated her career to analysis, decision-making, and critical thinking.
Born in Nova Zagora, Bulgaria, she developed an early passion for knowledge — not only for facts
but for the questions behind them.
Her professional journey spans economics, law, and business administration, with degrees in
Agricultural Economics (1993), Law (2000), an MBA from DeVry University, Chicago (2008), and a
PhD in Economics from SWU “Neofit Rilski,” Blagoevgrad (2024). Her doctoral thesis, “A Holistic
Approach to Analysis and Decision-Making,” reflects decades of experience in how people process
information and make choices.
For more than 20 years, Galina has lived in Chicago, USA, working across all levels of analytics
— from data entry to consulting. Alongside her professional practice, she has published research
and authored two books: Data Analysis for Beginners and Business Intelligence for Managers
(2024).
She believes critical thinking is not just an academic discipline but a vital tool in today’s
world of information and misinformation. For her, analysis is a journey toward clarity — and
critical thinking is the compass that guides it.
